Two-step sign-in
Why it’s needed and how to set it up.
Why
Patient records are sensitive, so everyone signs in with a password and a code from an authenticator app on their phone.
Setting it up
After your first sign-in you'll see a QR code. Scan it with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password and others), then type the six-digit code it shows.
Changing phone
Most authenticator apps can move their codes to a new phone. Do that before you wipe the old one.
Staying signed in
For safety, you're signed out after 30 minutes without using the app.
