Leads: enquiries that haven’t booked yet
People who’ve been in touch but aren’t patients yet, where they came from, and following them up.
What a lead is
Leads in the menu lists people who've been in touch but aren't patients yet, with where they came from. Messages themselves are in the Inbox. It's on every plan.
Where leads come from
- Texts and emails from people who aren't patients yet (on plans with the Inbox).
- Other systems through the open API, such as your own website or GoHighLevel (Practice plan; see Connecting other systems).
Each new lead gives Reception a Contact new enquiry task, due within the hour.
Following up
Each lead shows the message, when it came and buttons to email or ring them. Move it on with Mark contacted, Mark booked or Mark lost: anything but New closes the contact task, and replying in the Inbox marks it contacted too. Mark it booked yourself once they book; it doesn't change on its own. Filter by New, Contacted, Booked, Lost or All.
Making them a patient
Convert to patient makes their patient record (or links the patient you already have with that email), ready to book.
Where they came from
Reports counts new patients by where they first found you, from the tags on your booking links (see Adding online booking to your website).
