Treatment plans

Building a plan for a patient, sending it, and how they pay.

Building a plan

On the patient's record, under Treatment plans, say what it's for and press New plan (or start from one of your packages). Tap treatments to add them, set how many, and write what you found in plain words. Mark one item as a recommended add-on if you like: the patient chooses whether to include it.

The saving

The more different treatments a plan includes, the more it saves (Settings → Booking policy sets the steps, the extra for members and the cap). Only services and products ticked "counts towards a treatment plan's saving" count: assessments and reviews usually don't.

A video message

Record a minute or two in your own words, or upload a clip from your phone. Only the patient's link can play it, and it's deleted once the plan is finished.

Sending it

Send locks the price and sends the patient a private link by email (and text, if they've agreed to texts). It's open for 14 days. To change a sent plan, make a new version: the old link stops working.

How patients pay

Pay in full, or spread the cost with Klarna, Clearpay or PayPal (once they're switched on in your Stripe account): either way you're paid upfront and the plan becomes their package. Or pay per visit at standard prices. A plan paid upfront is only accepted once Stripe confirms the payment.

Following up

Hally reminds the patient if they haven't opened it in two days, nudges them (and gives reception a task to call) if they've opened it but not accepted in three, and reminds them before it expires. Members & plans in the menu → Treatment plans (just Treatment plans for clinicians) shows every plan and how each clinician's plans are doing.
