Import guide
Moving from Cliniko
Bring your data across free, with our step-by-step importer. Here’s what to export and how it maps.
1. Export your data
Look in Cliniko’s settings for its data export, which gives you your patients, appointments and treatment notes as CSV files. If you can’t find it, ask Cliniko’s support.
Menus change from time to time, so look for words like “export”, “reports” or “data”.
2. Import in this order, and check the columns
In Settings → Import data, upload each file. Hally suggests which of your columns is which; these are the ones it looks for. Columns it doesn’t need are skipped.

3. Good to know
- If names come as one column, match it to Full name: the importer splits it.
- Import treatment notes last, so each note can find its patient.
- Every import shows what will happen before anything is saved, and can be undone in one step.
- Imported patients are asked for text and marketing consent again at their next booking.
